Letter from the President
This is a very exciting time for Perry County with many positive things happening. There are growth and building projects underway that will improve the Quality of Life for those living here or just enjoying a weekend getaway. Perry County will be celebrating its Bicentennial on November 1st, 2014. This will bring many activities throughout the year.
I grew up in Perry County and left the area after graduation from Tell City High School in the early 1980’s due to the lack of job opportunities. Fortunately, I was able to return to the area where I now live with my family. I take every opportunity to share the great things the County has to offer. As I have become more involved in the community, I see that it is essential to increase business and job opportunities and help the existing businesses in Perry County so we can continue to grow.
Being an active member of the Chamber is one way I give back to the Community. I would like to encourage everyone to become involved. As a mission the Chamber is “committed to supporting the business community by offering networking, development and economic resources to lead those businesses to succeed”. I look forward to seeing you at one of our Chamber networking events.
The Perry County Chamber of Commerce is committed to supporting the business community by offering networking, developmental and economic resources to lead those businesses to succeed.
